As a way of creating awareness and sensitization to manage and control the sickle cell disease, the Buganda Kingdom has been so kind and offered to have sickle cell disease as the theme for the Kabaka Birthday Run for the next 3 years, beginning this year 9th of April 2017.  In preparation for the activity, the Katikiro of Buganda is visiting the Ministry of Health headquarters
