  • REGIONAL LABORATORY SYSTEMS STRENGTHENING MEETING TO SCALE UP VIRAL LOAD AND EARLY INFANT DIAGNOSIS SERVICES

    KAMPALA – 1st July 2019 - Laboratory experts from 13 countries across East, Central and Southern African Health Community as well as participants from Sierra Leone and Nigeria, have convened in Kampala to share best practices, experiences as well as facilitating south to south collaboration and exchange of knowledge towards the attainment of the UNAIDS 90-90-90 goals by 2020.

  • FIRST FACE-TO-FACE LabCoP CONFERENCE HELD IN UGANDA

    Uganda has been the first country to host a face-to-face LabCoP conference of 11 membership countries. These include Democratic Republic of Congo, Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, Sierra Leone, South Africa, South Sudan, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Uganda.

    LabCoP is a new initiative supporting knowledge co-creation and exchange to accelerate the scale up of viral load testing for improved patient management. Check out LabCoP background and virtual echo sessions conducted for more information.

  • HIGH LEVEL SYMPOSIUM ON LAB DIAGNOSTIC STRATEGY FOR ERADICATION OF HIV, TB and MALARIA

    The high level symposium on Lab diagnostic gathered a number of stake holders with the aim of eradicating HIV, TB and malaria within a specified period of time. 

  • Training in Personal/family Finance

    The UNHLS staff(CPHL and NTRL) had an interesting and productive session with Executive Director of Enterprise Uganda, Mr. Charles Ocici on finance management and investment at GEMS Cambridge International this morning. The staff was so grateful for the best offer by management at the start of the new year. With the knowledge gained, we hope to have great investors in the near by future.
